1.1 We analyse and collect information on traffic to the website and personal details, tastes and preferences of our visitors by enabling and using cookies.

This cookie is deleted at the end of each session/visit. We may also use cookies to track any click through from promotional emails sent by ESU and/or selected partners.
1.2 We use information collected about you to help us to (a) develop the design and layout of this website to ensure that it is as useful, accessible and enjoyable as possible and (b) provide the products and services which interest you.
1.3 In addition, we may provide aggregate statistics about our services, competitions, clients, traffic patterns and other site information to third parties, but these statistics will not include any information that could personally identify you. In the event that your personal details become untrue, inaccurate or incomplete, or in any event, you have the right to access your personal details and may rectify the same.
1.4 We reserve the right to access and disclose individually identifiable information to comply with applicable laws and lawful government requests or requests by the police investigating suspected illegal activities, to operate our systems properly or to protect ourselves or other users. We also reserve the right to disclose individually identifiable information to third parties if a complaint arises concerning your use of the website, and that use is deemed by us inconsistent with the user policy.
1.5 When you receive information or request services from us, we offer appropriate physical, electronic and managerial security measures preventing that information from being accessed by unauthorised persons. In addition, we have strict security procedures covering the storage and disclosure of your information in order to prevent unauthorised access to comply with the Belgian Data Protection Act. 1.6 Information on the contributions made by our users is aggregated according to their registration and login status. This information is available to the web administrator and may be published publicly as part of contributions lists.
1.7 Any changes to the content of this website can be identified with the respective username or IP address of the network. Users that are logged in do not expose their IP address to the public except in cases of abuse, including vandalism of a wiki page by the user or another user with the same IP address. Information on user's IP addresses is stored accordingly to data retention rules accessible to the web administrator. Information on IP addresses may be disclosed in cases of abuse of the user policy or criminal investigation.
1.7.1 As a general principle, any access to, and retention of, personally identifiable data in all projects should be minimal and should be used only internally to serve the safety and quality of this website.
